Monica Green has been teaching professionally in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 22 years. She started working at a home daycare at 17 years old and received an Associates of Arts degree in Child Development at West Los Angeles College. In 2021 she opened Green Family Childcare with her husband Charles Green. She also uses her God given gifts to serve as a lead teacher in her church’s children’s ministry. Her goal with children is to bring out the best in each child and to have their lights shine for the world to see.
Monica Green is CPR certified and licensed in Los Angeles and teaches in a curriculum with both English & Spanish. |
ABOUT US
We provide child care to children ages 18 months to 5 years of age.
WE PROUDLY SERVE WEST LA, CULVER CITY, PLAYA VISTA & MARINA DEL REY
We offer morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack and assist with potty training.
Green Family Daycare is licensed and complies with all applicable licensing regulations and standards such as first aid, & CPR. These standards relate to our home, staff, health, safety procedures, nutrition, caregiver to child ratios, and record keeping. These standards are in the best interest of the children and our facility is subject to inspection by state and city health, fire, and licensing officials. License #197494930

Ms Monica is the most loving, thoughtful and prepared teacher I have ever met and her little Family Daycare really IS a family! Both our kids age 4 and 2.5 are currently enrolled and they both started at 18 months. Ms Monica from day 1 welcomed them with so much love and open arms and put so much dedication in planning each and every activity for the little ones that go from circle time, dramatic play, coloring, paining, singing, dancing, they have a soccer coach once a a week (they are actually
becoming very good at soccer!) and water play in the summer! They have a field trip approximate every month and the boys absolutely love them: the Museum of Flying in Santa Monica, Virginia Park Splash Pad, Museum of Natural History, Botanical Gardens are just some examples of the educational field trips they recently went on. They were over the moon! Ms Monica has been very collaborative in helping and support the potty-training process, as well as the tradition to no nap, she's always giving us a detailed report of the boys' day at pick and she's available any time we need to consult her. She's also very communicative. Our oldest is moving on to TK in a few weeks and it will definitely be bittersweet to see this amazing chapter of his life ending. The memories he'll have from these past 2.5yrs will surely be marvelous. He is however very happy he will still have the chance to go to Green Family to pick up his baby brother for another few years! ~ Maria Giuila
